Men’s Sexual & Reproductive Health

There is a reason there have been male and female deities in cultures throughout the world over thousands of years, as well as why there are male and female human beings. It is only in our materialistic, technocratic time that the significance of the sacred and the profane has been largely forgotten. Both the divine masculine and the divine feminine principles are active in cosmic existence and in nature. These foundational principles should be better understood and valued in human society for it to become healthy once more.

In the great shifts that have taken place in the home and workplace in the last 50 years, many men have lost their sense of purpose. They do not understand the world nor do they understand their role in it. Boys have fallen behind girls in academic performance. Fewer men now receive college degrees than women. Professions that were once male-dominated are no longer so, while men working in what were traditionally women’s professions are still looked down upon to some degree. The social norm has been real men do not talk about their problems, they solve them on their own. This often prevents men from seeking needed professional help as often as women.

According to recent statistics provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for Health Statistics:

      • Life expectancy for men is almost five years less than for women;
      • Men die twice as often of coronary heart disease;
      • Men die significantly more often of cancer;
      • Men’s suicide rate is approximately four times that of women.

Some possible reasons:

      • More men have no health coverage than women;
      • Men get regular preventive physicals half as often as women;
      • Society discourages healthy behavior in men and boys;
      • Men may have less healthy lifestyles including risk-taking at younger ages;
      • Men need to understand the requirement to get in touch with higher aspects of their whole multi-dimensional selves for true, lasting psychological and physical health.

Here are a few general guidelines to promote men’s general, sexual and reproductive health:

      • Avoid bottled water and tap water, both of which are usually not adequately filtered by bottlers and public water suppliers. Filter tap water to remove toxic chemical and pharmaceutical residues, as much as possible. Do not drink water from plastic bottles. In general, drink organic beverages stored in glass containers.
      • Eat organic foods, cooked with organic herbs and spices with known medicinal benefits.
      • Avoid microwaving foods and beverages, a process which destroys prana|qi/chi (life-force energy) and alters the chemical composition.
      • Eat a truly healthy diet (not what some food industry propagandist is pushing as the latest dietary fad).
      • Engage in regular exercise (preferably in a healthy natural environment). It needs to be an enjoyable workout, which should leave you joyful, optimistic, and brimming with vitality.
      • Prioritize getting sound sleep over 6-7 hours (depending on your individual need) each night.
      • Use dietary, herbal and nutraceutical protocols for endocrine protection and support.
      • Engage in prayer and meditation practices that strongly appeal to you and serve to increase your self-knowledge, clarify your vision, and strengthen your inner sense of purpose.
      • Get regular preventive medical exams.
      • Get professional spiritual and energy healing treatments as well as massages.

Some scientists and medical providers will deny many of the factors listed above have a strong influence on men’s health and well-being. Realize who funds conventional medical education, professional associations, standards boards, research, industry journals, and provides strong incentives to doctors, nurses, etc., to promote certain diagnostic and treatment methods and certain expensive, patented medicines in their practices.

For an individualized preventive or curative treatment plan, consult a knowledgeable, warm, and honest healthcare provider who takes the time to get to know you and your true needs.

May you be empowered by your healing and medical decisions!
